Nyles by Clarice Chikazawa-Nelson / Clarice

You did not deserve to die the way you did. You tended to Sal so tenderly and with such devotion. He and Khema still wait for you to come home.

I hope you know that I tried my best to be as good a friend to you as you were to me. I miss hugging and kissing you and how you would snore and sleep on the bed at my feet. I miss how you would follow me and the countless times you endured being stepped on just to be close to me.

You are in the Pure Land now, free from any pain or suffering. I know your physical body was a vessel for your loving spirit and soul and that you are still here with me. You always wanted to be so close that I told you often that if you could climb into my skin, you would. Now that the physical barrier of your body is gone, you sit inside me, in my heart forever and ever. I miss you my sweet angel, my Mr.Velvet, my Nylesy.

I will love you forever ,sweet boy
