Ollie by The Bourke Family / Mama, Daddy, Carrie, Katie, Carolina and Tiazu

Ollie was indeed our father’s boy. He did not start out this way but over the years he and my dad became inseparable. They loved to travel together. Saying the words “Do you want to go on a car ride?” Would send Ollie straight out to the car waiting to get in. He loved going to his beach house. He had a mission and that was to keep his family safe. No one could come to the house without having to be greeted by the barks and curious smells of this dog. He would eventually
gain a sister and brother.

He taught little Carolina how to be mischievous without getting caught. You could never be mad at Ollie for very long. He had the look of an angel. As the years rolled on Ollie would slow down but he never lost that twinkle in his eyes. We would hear an occasional bark or growl when he did not know who the voice was around him. In the end we still saw that love that he gave my dad and the rest of the family. He conveyed to us love that he would forever have for his family.

We knew it was time to let him go and play with all of his new doggy friends in heaven. We pray that he is indeed healed and out of pain forever. We look forward to reuniting with him at the gates to heaven. We hope that he will continue to look down and help to guide his brother and sister in all of their future adventures.

We will always love our Daddy’s boy. He was a one of a kind dog that you could not help but love! Rest in Peace Ollie Dollie. We love you very much and will miss you forever.

With lots and Lots of love,
Ollie
