We didn’t have very much
time together
not as much as I wanted.
But you were so beautiful
and faithful
and you were good to Maxx
and sometimes I wondered why.
I miss you today
as much as the day you went away.
But there’s the Rainbow Bridge and
I believe
that all of us will be united again
