Once upon lived a family of 4, they had a dog named Molly which was sick and old. She also required lots of attention. Morgan (daughter) wanted another dog but knew she probably wouldn’t get one. One day while she was at school her mother was in her car and she saw a black dog shivering in the cold. She immediately stopped her car and called the little black dog. The little dog came running to her full speed, and to her surprise the dog was a pit bull puppy. She was about 6 months old and had on a tight cat collar that was way too small. She brought her home and Molly the other dog was upset and
they immediately started to fight.
Morgan and her sister walked in the door that day from school and were greeted by the black puppy. Morgan thought she was the cutest and really wanted to keep her and so did paige. They named the dog Onyx, which is a black diamond. Onyx had white on her chest and it formed a star. She also had some white on her nose. She was the nicest pit bull, although she didn’t like other dogs. Eventually Molly died, and Onyx was sad and lonely. Then one faithful day in May, Morgan and her dad went to the puppy store. They found Ping (mom was in love with ping), he was a black and white 3 LB Japanese Chin puppy. He also was $700, but that didn’t stop them from buying him.
Onyx loved the lil ball of fluff. Ping grew up with Onyx by his side and she saved his life from 2 coyotes. One night Ping was outside and decided to wonder out by himself near a coyote den. 3 coyotes grabbed and were all attacking Ping. Onyx heard her brother crying and took off towards them. She attacked all 3 coyotes and saved her brother. He has such long hair that all they did was pull some out, but if Onyx hadn’t saved him, he would be dead. She was a beautiful pit bull and got ran over in front of her house she was about 3 and 1/2 years old. It was probably the saddest moment of my life. I love you Onyx. Love always your sister Morgan.
