Cat

Oscar,

Ruben brought you home for our 2nd Anniversary in England.

You were so tiny the runt of the litter no one wanted.

You went everywhere with us in the car to friends to stores you were

too little to leave alone. We knew you were just too much when

you began carrying everything you could in your mouth.

Brownies baggies paper newspaper Readers Diges phone books

and of course your purple glove you loved so much along with

that blue furry ball!!! You made the flight all the way to America

without a problem and onto ND and back to CO.

You were so happy here Oscar.. we took every precaution necessary

in order for you to enjoy the outdoors. Electric fencing and all.

You loved the flowers and trees and playing with Chewey of course!!

Sammy tries to be dominate now that you’re not here to let him

know who’s boss Toby picks at Missy and Aurora just watches..

Chewey and Charlie look for their kisses and meows from you

which aren’t there anymore!! Today is your 6th birthday Oscar!!

The kitties had their tuna as always on birthdays…

WE MISSED YOU TOO MUCH THOUGH!!

Oscar my papers are still torn where you ate them and took

them outside to the enclosure your fur is still on the cat houses and

scratching posts and I hear your meows talking to me still!!

Ruben doesn’t play with straws anymore remember you loved chasing

those round and round and landing in our lap?

You beat Diabetes last year even Dr Doug and Deann called you

“AWESOME OSCAR”!!

You LET them take your blood every week for almost a year!!

YOU ARE SO MISSED AND LOVED BUDDY!!!

The way you died Oscar just doesn’t seem fair that tiny little wire out there

where you always laid to get stuck on that rabies tag is just infuriating at times!!

I was here within 5 minutes buddy I wish you would have just sat still until

I saw you or Ruben came out to put you in for the day while we left!!

Everybody has on the breakaway collars now Sammy still tries to

get in the front yard and Toby still gets on the roof when we are home.

We never let you roam alone we never let you out of our site even!!!

I wish I could just change 5 minutes of that day Oscar I would even take

your place I pray only you did not suffer I know you tried to get

away your little paw was bloody and your mouth too Dr says you

fell asleep after turning over and then you were gone!!

I AM SO SORRY YOU DID THAT WAY!!! You hated those mirrors

on any wall you would swing them until they fell.. and new

situations you took in stride.

You put up with every stray kitty I brought in here and let me know

how much you loved me with your kisses and hugs from your right paw!!

I still feel those hugs Oscar!! I can’t wait to be with you again.

But for now baby give Jesus all those hugs and kisses and I will see you soon.

I LOVE YOU OSCAR WE LOVE YOU YOU WERE ONE IN A MILLION AND

MY HEART WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN.

We are moving soon you would have loved the new house lots of room to

curl up and be safe and warm.

You will go with us in spirit and I will never let you go out of my memories.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OSCAR eat all the treats you want!!!

Will see you soon!

Tricia
