When I first met you, you were someone else’s pet and before long they wanted to get rid of you and I knew you would be mine. I fell in love with you even though you were full of mischief. You have been through so many ups and downs with me in our 14 years together. You remained by my side with loyalty and love as only a best friend could. I miss you everyday and wish I could feel you pushing those lil cheeks next to my lips for me to kiss at least one last time. I never got to say goodbye or tell you I loved you one last time.
Your passing has left me in so much pain and grief. I wish I could have you back, but until we meet again on that Rainbow Bridge I will miss you with all my heart and think of you everyday. Mommy loves you and I am sorry I could not be there to be the last voice you heard and for you to hear I love you from me!!!
