Oh Otis P. It has taken me this long..3 months to be able to write this tribute of you. I can’t …I knew I couldn’t do this without ballin’.
Oh Otis, I love you so much!
I know that it was time for you to make that trip to go see Daisy and Grampa and the rest of the kids.
You hung on tougher and longer than anybody ever expected you to. And you hung out in our world with class and respect.
You were blind and couldn’t hear but you kept goin’ outside to potty..even if you always needed
help getting back on the deck.
Otin’ you were no problem to take care of. You were my reason for getting up..and setting down.
I loved making sure that you were always alright.
Now that I can stay gone over night it …just seems empty. I don’t have you here with me. Next to me. Depending on me. And I depended on you for the love that we had.
It’s a good thing that you are over there, where you can run and bark and see. And Daisy and you are together again.
And I’m sure Grampa is glad that you are doing so good now. Tony put you next to Daisy. This spring we will make it gorgeous for the both of you.
I know that you have come and visited. Please keep coming back. I look forward to it.
We have Harry’s dog, Bub now. I’m pretty sure that he has met you. He’s kinda a pussy. Tony says he is just ‘sensitive’. But we know, huh Otis. So just keep scaring him.

I’ll write more another time. Sorry that it took me so long. Tony helping you across was the best thing and it was time. I just wanted you to last forever. But you are.
