Payday was my special boy
Payday was my ball of joy
He had the most ferocious purr
He had the blackest, softest fur.
Payday loved to eat and play
Payday napped his days away
For four short years he was my cat
Our home is where his heart was at.
He liked to chase and swat the flies
I loved his big, round, yellow eyes
He lived with Roxy and Siobhan
I still cannot believe he’s gone.
The furriest tail and sweetest face
No other cat could take his place
Forever I’ll miss my special friend
My love for him will never end.
His absence causes me such pain
I long to cuddle him again
Cherish him always and forget him never
May he be at peace forever.
