Dog
Peanut was not just a pet.
He was apart of the family.
He was given to me for my birthday and he passed away
the day after my 22 birthday.
When he came into our home I was a young child.
He touch all our hearts
But especially one heart that was hard to touch.
My step father did not want any dog in the house.
He would not pet or even play with Peanut.
This went on for awhile but it was soon going to change.
Peanut made his way in to my step dad's heart
that's when we new he was special dog.
From than on they were best friends for life. So you can imagine
how hard it was when he passed away.
He taught my step dad
it was ok to love.
He grow up with me.
I cried on him when a boyfriend broke up with me.
He always listened.
Peanut also helped my mom.
She has arthritis and she had days were she was down.
He would lay next to her and kiss her.
Peanut was much more an pet.
