Here’s our newest member of our family. My husband found him listed in a pet shelter a bit over 3 weeks ago. After a home visit by a volunteer to check us out, and after a background search and references checks we were able to pick up our newest furry little sweetheart July 26th.Estimates are that he’s about 8 years old and doesn’t have diabetes after all – the original DX was based on a dipstick of his urine although the bloodwork ruled it out. We still suspect Cushing’s Disease and his liver enzymes are abnormally high.This beautiful little fellow is every bit as sweet, affectionate and curious as our Q… must have something to do with Cockers’ attributes.So we have a new little sweetie to fuss over, and it’s a shame Cole and Q never met. They would have gotten along like brothers!
