Pokey Dot’s Poem
With every passing day I miss you
You were the sweetest dog
You brought joy into my life
Every day was joy with you
Cookie was your favorite word
You could run like the wind
You were always happy to your humans
I love my little Pokey dot.
Hugs and kisses you willing to give
All you ever wanted was little attention
Always by side when I went to sleep
At the kitchen table you’d be when I ate
At my feet when I was home
You love sit and lay with me.
A walk was one of your many joys in this life
I love my little boy.
I loved how you like to show off with the toy
Play with Mona and Brownie
Fun they bring to you
Remote control cars were your enemy
My lap you’d jump to
A mooch you may have been
I wish I could give you another treat
I love you Pokeymon.
I know you are in heaven
Playing with Boomer, Tinkerbell, Dukey Duke, and Fred
I wish there was more I could do for you
I wish I could have taken that nasty cancer away
I know God will care for you now
Someday we’ll play again
I wish you were still here
Remember Pokey I will always love you
There has not been a dog like you
I will never forget you
You brought joy to everyone
Someday I’ll give you the attention you deserve
I love how you used to poke everyone
We all miss you
I love you Pokey Dot
There will never be another Pokey Dot
I mourn you today
Rest in Peace Poke
This is not good bye
Someday we’ll be all together
Until then Remember I have love in my heart for you.
You were not just a dog
You were my little buddy
A friend until your end on this earth
