Puff by Betty Adkins / Mommy

This is a tribute to my kitty Puffie

We had been together for almost 16 years. I can remember the day you were born, just like it was yesterday. You were such a chubby little thing, you looked like a little ball with legs. You grew into a big beautiful cat, kind of a loner, but beautiful just the same.

It was so hard to let you go, Puffie, but I know that you were so sick and it was taking all the strength you had to make it one more day. So, with all the love and strength I had, I let you go that day.

I miss you in the house with me and in my bed at night, and I miss you flipping the water bowl almost every night.

I hope you knew how much I loved you and that I always will.

I found this little poem that I am going to add just for you…

I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new.

I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too.

I think of you in silence. I often speak your name.

Now all I have is memories, and your picture in a frame.

Your memory is my keepsake, with which I’ll never part.

God has you in his keeping.

I have you in my heart.

I love you Puffie and will never forget you as long as I live.

With All My Love To You Puffie,
Puff
