Pup by Madeliene Eggleton / Nanny Madeliene

Pup was six weeks old when we brought her home. She loved our other dogs and cats. Her Mom was a labrador but as Pup grew she looked more greyhound, so we always thought maybe that is what her Dad was. We talked about names for our puppy but all the family called her Pup so that is what we called her all through her life.

Pup was so gentle and so sweet. She liked a walk but only in our home area and she did not like to be outside if it rained. She loved her home and the fireside. My friend used to say Pup had a perfect life. Her nature was so loving. Her health was good except for the last when she had two fits a few days apart and started to have falls and appeared confused. Our vet said it was all to do with the brain. I stayed with our Pup, our lovely old girl, as she was gently put to sleep. There is a big gap in my life without her. Pup, you were my sweet, harmless, gentle girl.

Love and miss you so much, our Pup.
