"Q-Tip"

Toy Poodle
I sadly give this tribute to our missed dog Q-Tip.
He was an apricot colored toy poodle
with a personality all his own.
He became one of the family so quickly.
Never will I find another dog that showed
as much love and affection to others as we showed him.
He is sadly missed by the entire family.
Even though I haven't cried like I've wanted yet
I keep my feelings bottled up inside
for fear of criticism of others.
I loved that dog with all my heart.
I miss coming home from college
and having him meet me
at the door jumping and showing me
how much he missed me.
I also miss him lying on his back
and stretching as he waits for someone to rub his tummy.
Q-Tip got a hold of something that he couldn't digest
and his intestines were cut in tiny places.
The first surgery performed was a success
and we thought he would be fine.
Apparently one of the stitches came loose
and our friend started bleeding internally.
Q-Tip you will always be remembered
in the hearts and souls
of those who love you.
You can never be replaced!
