Our Beloved Reno was welcomed into our family as a birthday present for my Dad back in July of 1988.. {she was almost a month old}I met her when I came home from Florida for my 10 year High School Reunion..{In July} Oh was she a tiny cute, gorgeous puppy! It was love at first sight! Unfortunately I had to go back to Florida after my Reunion, but tragic circumstances brought me back home to Wisconsin for good..in 1989.. My Dad was dying of cancer..after a 3 year battle..so I came back home to help take care of him.. Reno and I were reunited! she was growing into a BEAUTIFUL dog! Such a clever, wonderful Girl!!
I had so much fun with her, watching her chase birds..playing with her toys…cuddling with her..Unfortunatley my Dad passed away in 1990…I continued to stay with my Mom for a while..She kept Reno and our house till she was ready to get married again and move down south..
I found an apartment that allowed dogs..so Reno and I started our journey together in October of ’99’ She was all mine!! She wasn’t used to apartment life since she was so used to being outdoors, but she soon adjusted..She LOVED to ride in my car!! She LOVED listening to My John Denver music.. {It relaxed her.}
She was such a good girl! Never ate up or tore any clothes or shoes I had.. And most of the time waited patiently to go out when I got home from work.. Even though she was getting old..she still acted like a puppy at times.. I miss her so much, but know that she is safely, and at peace with God in Heaven.. GOD BLESS YOU MY SPECIAL BABY GIRL!
