To our dear Rocky (Bubba)
We're so sorry your last few days were so miserable
even though everything possible
was done to try and make you better.
We think you knew too that it was time
to let you take the journey to the Rainbow Bridge.
Our selfishness didn't want you to go but
our love for you was stronger and
we knew it was time to let you go.
You brought such joy into our lives for 16 years and
gave us so many happy memories that will be with us forever.
How we miss those bright eyes looking at us
stroking your soft silky coat waiting for us at the door
curling up on our laps when you wanted some love and
your sweet and gentle ways will never be forgotten.
You will always be "mothers man" fella.
No other furr person will ever take that from you.
Don't ever forget how much we love you and
one day we'll meet again at the Rainbow Bridge.
