To my Rocky,
I miss you very much and wish you well in doggie heaven.
I know you are having a better life than when I let you go.
There is a hole in my heart that in time I hope will be whole
again when the pain of losing you subsides .
You were my friend and companion right up to your
last breath and I know you would have given your life
for me had you had to.
Mommie will always remember how you slobbered all over
when you got a drink how you brought in the paper even
when it was raining and I didn't want to get wet.
Sat at the bottom of the ice box looking up hoping that the
chewies would fall on the floor.
Well handsome I hope you have all the chicken and chewies
you want because you deserve them.
