You were my special boy and I miss you so much. I miss petting you when I get home. I miss taking you for walks. I miss the way you would lay your head on my lap when I was sad.
Even though there is sadness in my heart, I remember our times together with a smile. My biggest regret is that I wasn’t there for you in the end. I never got the chance to say goodbye. If I would have known the end was near, I would have never left you.
