I meet Roslyn at the Human Society June 2007. She was elderly approximately 16 years old. I could hardly believe someone would give her up. What was her story I wonder. She was a long hair black/brown tabby. A tad bit of arthritis. She would purr as fast as she would growl. Her old brown eyes told a story of why. I took her home that day. She wasn’t fond of my other cats but learned to live with them after a month. I loved her so very much. Very sweet soul she had but she was so very tired. In her last month she started to venture outdoors to lie in the sun. A change was coming. It took her a week to pass. I believe her spirit left early Sunday. She lost her sight and slept more and more responding to my voice and touch. I missed her passing by a half an hour. I know she is now out of pain and silently looking down. I hope to see her again. My heart breaks that she is no longer seated on her favorite chair, nor calling for her food, purring at my touch. I still walk as though is under my foot only to realize she isn’t there.
I miss you baby Ros,
