" Roxxie " 1986 ---- 1999
Irish Setter
My husband gave Roxxie to me as a Christmas gift
before we married. I had always wanted a dog but my parents
wouldn't let me have one. When he gave her to me and I saw her clumsily
making her way to me I started crying. I had never been so happy.
She became my best friend. To love an animal is to know unconditional love.
She always listened always comforted and always loved me.
We had to have her put to sleep when she was 13 years old
she just couldn't go on. While the doctor said 13 years old was a long
time to have her to me 50 years would be too short.
Roxxie mommy knows your an angel in Heaven and I know you
are happy but I miss you so very much.
Please know that there isn't a day that goes by that I don't
think of you and how much I love you.
