When we first saw you;
you were dirty, shy and scared.
We brought you home
with the intentions
of just fostering you.
It only took a few minutes
for us to realize that
there was no way you would
ever leave us.
After a few weeks
your loving and faithful personality blossomed
into a wonderful companion.
It is so hard to let you go, but
we know that we will
see you again.
