I became part of Sammy’s family when I married her owner Barbara three years ago. For many years, I had avoided having a pet because I didn’t want to endure the pain of losing a pet. I had forgotten the joy, the unconditional love, the companionship, and the loyalty that a pet can bring into one’s life. Sammy brought all of that to me and more. She became “My Shadow”, seldom more than a few feet away whenever we were together. Sammy passed today, and her family is very, very sad. BoBo, we miss you.
