Sandy by Melissa Manning / Dad, Mom, Missy, Kelly & Greg

We got Sandy when she was just a puppy. My aunt’s neighbors dog had puppies. We picked her because she was the cutest. They were calling her Sandy because of her coloring and we all agreed the name fit. Sandy was part Husky & German Shepherd and she was the sweetest and most loving dog imaginable. She always knew when you just needed a friend and was right there for you.

Some of our favorite memories of Sandy were when she would jump up onto the sofa to sleep and climb down the second before Dad came into the room. She also loved to play in the snow when she was younger. She would actually hop like a deer when playing in it. Or like the times
she’d take a nap with you and hog the bed,
practically pushing you off the side!

Sandy was a wonderful dog and will be greatly missed.

“If I had an hourglass,
I’d save the grains of time
I spent with you”.

Love,
Sandy
