Now about Sasha my husband bought her for me as a Valentines gift
which was about a month and a half before our daughter was born.
On June 3 1998 I was at work my husband was out of town and our children
was at school. Our neighbor that lives behind us noticed that Sasha was
hung up on her chain on our fence he tried to get her un tangled but
was unable to get close enough. He noticed another neighbor and asked
her if she knew if we were home and explained what was wrong . She
stated to him that she thought we were at work but that she will call
the Animal Control for help for her.
The first call went in around 11:30-12:00pm,. Christina our neighbor
noticed the truck drive by the house but it did not stop.
She called them again and explained more intently that the officers
would have to get out of their trucks in order to help Sasha. The
dispatcher told her that they would send out another truck.
Another truck was sent out Christina stated that the officer did not
check on Sasha and all that officer did was leave a Complaint notice on
our door. The time was 1:40pm.. She called them again and very upset
told them that he has to get out and check on her other wise she is
going to die again she was told a truck would be sent out.
Christina noticed the truck pull up in front of her house at the stop
sign she told them that they had to get out to check the dog they answered
back “We did not see any dog”. Christina walked over to our yard and
yelled back “she’s not moving now” then they backed up the truck and
got out with a snar then they say to Christina “Oh it’s that Rott” she
tells them yes that is what I told you the first three times I called
and also when my friend called and told you the same thing. The
supervisor leaves us another Complaint notice that they picked up our
Rott found dead hung choked on fence.. but they did not say that they
took her to the land fill..
