Our beautiful baby girl, Sawyer left us after 11 wonderful years here on earth. She came into our lives when I was only 3. I’ll never forgot that adorable puppy face. She was truly a family girl. She loved everyone though. She would see a stranger and bark like she was the toughest dog to walk the planet then once they came up to her she would lick their faces and want to be loved. She showed so much love to us in her 11 years her. She gave birth to two litters of puppies and we only kept one puppy from the first litter.
Her name was Patty. Sawyer watched over Patty and we could never walk one without the other. Sawyer always had to be the center of attention. She would jump up in your lap and just lay there. She was truly an angel. Then one day she started losing weight and we had no idea what was going on. Then sometime terrible happened-our baby girl Patty died. Sawyer went nowhere by downhill after that. She went blind and grew extremely skinny. We held on to her as long as we could but only four months after Patty died, we made the hardest decision of our lives, to put our other baby to sleep. It was the day after my homecoming dance. My grandpa had to take her to be put to sleep because it was just too hard for us.
He brought her back and buried her in our yard. That’s where she’ll lay forever but her soul is with us every day. We miss you more than anything our sweet baby. Wait for me in heaven. I love you so much.
