What can I say? Sheila was Sheila!!
My husband would take her hunting for rabbits in
the back woods. If he came back swearing,
I knew she was not in the hunting mood.
Sheila had this way of hiding behind trees and
actually peek around to see if you were watching her!
When she was a puppy I taught her to "slither"
on her belly and when she knew she was in trouble
she would slither toward us.
Before her death she was very sick.
She died beside my daughter's bed during the night.
We truly miss her and talk of her often!!
We will never have another Lab like her!
