What can someone say about their pet except that they were the best ever, well, this one was. Shelby was my best friend and companion, she would wait for me when I got home from work and follow me around like she wanted to know how my day was. Shelby would watch over me and always be there for me. I have been on my own for a few years and needed someone in my life and Shelby was the answer. She knew when to cheer me up by rolling around on the floor and act goofy, or to get my attention by staring at me with those loving and affection filled eyes. She loved to sit in the window and look outside and stare at whatever caught her attention. It didn’t matter who met her, she loved everyone, once she got to know you….hehe.
Shelby got sick and tried not to let me know so that I wouldn’t worry about her, but as much as she tried to fight what was wrong with her she always looked at me with love. I will miss her with all my heart and will always think about her. Shelby, i love you and miss you dearly and you will not be forgotten. I love you.
