March 24th 1999
I had Sheldon for 12 years and even though she
was a turtle she was a good friend.
She would always listen to me talk blinking her
little orange eyes as if in agreeance with all I said.
Lately I've been so busy with work....
that I hadn't had time to do this and when I went
to give her her daily soak.... she was gone.
I may be silly to shed tears over a reptile... since she
wasn't all cuddly like other pets but she was a
good companion.
I will miss her.
I hope there are plenty of Strawberries and cantaloupes
cut into pieces she can handle wherever she is.
