Snuggles
I remember talking to my sister. My sister said would you like to have a cat? I said yes and she said well I’ll look for one. They used to have a special section in the paper one side would be for dogs and the other side would be for cats and we saw a male gray cat and it said you like to play with toy balls and my sister called this phone number. Found out it was a church friend of mine and she said oh no. I said what and my sister said do you know the Justice’s. I said yes. They go to my church she said well in order for you to get this cat you will have to go to Murphey’s Mart and go back to the cassette tape section and stay there till I go and get the cat and she left me there. I was a teen then and I just spent time looking at the cassette’s till my sister came in the store and found me and said we got to go now because the cat is in the car and I got in the back seat with you and told you about Sugar our dog.
You were well behaved. My sister didn’t know what my mom would say because it was a surprise and we got home my mom was home. My sister carried the cat to my mom and my mom shouted where in the hell did you get that cat and my sister said it’s our cat and the cat got scared and ran and hid under a buffet and stayed there for awhile and then came out and everything was ok with mom and you lived in our house for awhile but then had to leave to go to heaven.
I will see you again Snuggles when I get to heaven. Your heart will go on. Remember jumping from the top of the basement steps to the bottom of the basement steps you never walked down all the steps. You liked to jump down all of the steps never touching the steps so I know you can fly like an angel.
