Sooty we will never forgot the first day we saw you in the rescue centre. You were the only little cat there,
all the others were older,
still beautiful but you stood out from the rest.
You looked out of your cage and calling
for someone to love you.
I think you were about 5 months old at the time.
Mum wanted you so badly, so before someone could take you, she secured you, and from then on you were always close in her heart.
You came home and made friends with Jess,
your older cat friend
and you would both play.
Jess died and you were lost without her,
but now you have gone, too.
Mum had to say goodbye as
you became very ill so suddenly.
We will never forget you sweet boy.
You were only 6 years old,
too young to leave.
Play with jess happily.
