Spikey bird you were so cute when I first met you. You saw yourself as Daddy’s rival for attention it was so funny. You would perch yourself on my shoulder or if I was laying down my knee and tell Daddy “mine” We realized you needed another bird to play with so we got you Zander. When Daddy and I got married you also got a new friend Spyke dog. I remember how you use to mimic Daddy an call the dogs then laugh at them when they came to the cage. You helped Daddy through a lot of very hard times before he met me. He still misses you so much. You would be proud of him. There were two abused Quakers at the vet that needed a home. They had some behavior problems so they were hard to adopt out and they needed to be adopted together. So your Daddy brought them home.
Zander never really warmed up to them he still misses you so much. He is still grieving for you. I miss the demanding way you yelled for breakfast or the cat calls when I past your cage(a bad habit you learned from Daddy)I miss so much about you, no one could ever take your place. I know you are at the rainbow bridge with Buttons and all your cousins that have gone before waiting for us
We love you very much, sweet Spikey.
