Stonewall Thomas by Ada Vorpagel / Mommie

Squeaker – you were so little when we brought you home from Fort Shenandoah in Virginia. You had no fear of black powder guns but you growled at a hunter’s rifle! You knew the difference! You were my best one – you “protected” me during thunderstorms (I protected you!) and never had a harsh word for anybody. And how you talked to yourself going through the house! That’s how you got your nickname! I love you very much and I miss you terribly. You are with Danni-kins, Sam, Morris and Sylly-Joe. Play well with them — I’ll see you someday beyond the Rainbow Bridge.

Love you always,
Stonewall Thomas
