Sylvia by Sherri / Momma

You spend your days sleeping now,
When once you romped and played.

Your coat once so dark and gray,
Grows silver more every day

Age, my Big Girl has taken it’s toll.
Never though has it made a mark
On your wonderful soul.

You came into my life
When I need you so much

You always comforted me with your gentle nuzzel,
With a warm touch.

Today you went away from me,
It was time for you to go.

I was left without you now, here so sad below.

Heaven now is where you are waiting for me,
Goodbye my Big Girl till at last in heaven we both shall be.

Always,
Sylvia
