Tangerine {Tangy} by Lynne,Curtis,Lisa Ratliff and Pa / Mamas Pat and Lynne, Sister Lisa and Pawpy Curt

Tangerine was one of four furkids that were in desperate need of a home because their owners home was in danger of being taken from them if they could not find a home for their four furkids that they loved.

At the time, my mom, Pat and I just joined Siamese Rescue and on the Kansas Center’s website there was a call for someone who could offer these furkids a home and a chance to carry on their lives in peace and love.

There was Earl, Crayola or Lola, Dottie and of course, Tangerine, known by his nickname, Tangy. After a long trip from Kansas to Iowa, we started to get to know each one of them, but Tangerine was special, he was partially blind,but beautiful with a bottle brush tail and a fluffy coat that just screamed for love and attention.

As the years went by, my mom, Pat, cared for him, made sure that his coat and that bottle brush tail was combed and brushed every day so that he would be forever beautiful. He would come up to you and look with those eyes that would just gaze into your heart and you had to love him.

Well, love him we did and he will be forever missed, a sudden collapse, finding out that your inside would not sustain you, we felt that giving you the ultimate gift of peace was more than you could give us at the time.

Sleep peacefully, our friend, play with Riverbend, Lucky, Spookers and all of our furkids that met you this morning and remember that we’ll always love and remember you until we can be together again.

We Will Always Feel Your Love,
Tangerine {Tangy}
