Tarzan,
Many words can describe you but the first one that comes to mind is hero. You were one right up til the end. Even as that most difficult decision was being made, you were the strong one. As the vet explained the situation, I will never forget the look in your eyes as you turned your head towards me as if to say, It’s ok Mom, I got this, my work here is done. In that instant, while my heart was still breaking, I was at peace because I knew you were ready and that you’d be ok. And as you slipped away, you were the one holding me.
"That'll do dog your work is done come home"
