It’s been 5 years since that long night and still time plays tricks on me. They say time heals all wounds and that memories fade. It is true that memories do fade but the wounds remain. Every year on the eve of your death, I light a single candle that burns thru the night pointing you “home”. I know you are in my heart and will always be a part of our family.
