Dearest Tater,
We miss you so very much. I thought it would get easier but it is not. I long to kiss and hold you and rub your ears. The couch seems so lonely without you. Snuggles seems sad and misses you. She didn’t want to leave you at the vet that day. Lucy keeps looking for you. She’s too young to understand you’re not coming back. Remember I told you I will see you someday and I will and I will not let you go.
I hope you’re with Sadie and Lou and Murray and Grandma and Grandpas. You rest well and wait for me because I will wear you out. I love you so much Tate. Thank you for all the joy you gave to Dad, Laura, Andrew and me. I saw the tear in your eye and I know you loved us very much. I didn’t know how sick you were. It was a shock. I’m just glad you were with us for almost 17 years. You play and have fun and wait for me, Tate. Send me a sign that you’re okay. WE LOVE YOU, TATER. Don’t ever forget that. See you again.
Love Always and always,
| Tater |
