Templeton by John and Britnee Dolyak / Daddy and Mommy

Templeton daddy’s little playful boy. You came into my life and instantly stole my heart. When you looked at me with those beautiful black eyes I knew you choose me to be your daddy. I remember when I introduced you to the twin, yeah did not want you any where near em. You were this little ole tike who had lots of energy, and just wanted to play and cuddle. You went with us everywhere; I remember when daddy taught this class about you, and seeing how you changed the perception of rats for even just a few people. You’re what people don’t realize about rats… people think rats are disgusting creatures who are aren’t very intelligent who have no feelings… well you, my son, you made people see you; loved people…you loved everyone.

When it came to your final days.. sadly you showed no signs of being in pain…or that you were sick.. then the day came daddy found you dead in your cage and I screamed to mommy…..we wept for days, and we still do. I still can’t believe you’re gone; its not fair. Tell your sisters and brothers daddy I loved em…. and to you my son, me and mommy love you very much…sweet dreams.

With love,
Templeton
