Tequila (aka Tiki),
You were my best friend and a most faithful companion. Today, I started a journal so that I would not forget even one detail about our time together. I can’t even begin to thank you for the value you added in my life. As I was taking my first walk without you, praying that our paths would one day cross again, I saw your paw prints and my footprints in the snow. They were from our last walk together through the neighborhood. I walked over your prints and thought to myself, our paths “have” crossed again. 🙂 Thank you for adopting me so many years ago and I pray that you knew how much you were loved while part of our family. Look for me at the Rainbow Bridge, as I will be looking for you. Then, prepare for some major ear scratching and a long walk through the heavens together. I love you.
