Pekingnese
We received Terry when I
Samantha turned 5 years old.
We were unsure of his birthday when we got him.
Terry had been a show dog Pekingnese and
his trainer informed my mother that he was
"worthless" as a show dog.
Terry had been terribly abused by this trainer left in
storms and would not bark at all when we got him.
Terry was a different dog; he never really was
affectionate because of his hard life before he met us.
But Terry had a good life and was loved and
cared for by all especially my mom Marsha.
She loved Terry like a child; he was her everything.
Terry got cancer in 1993-1994 and he passed away
the summer I competed in my first
Miss Louisiana Competition.
Terry had suffered so much in his life.
We hope he has finally at peace in heaven.
His little grave rests in our backyard.
We miss you Terry and we will love you forever...
