Timber by Jeff & Donna Carr

Timber you will never leave your family.
The curse of “Fear” made by storms and
the abuse you had to deal
with as a puppy,
made you do what
you didn’t want or like.

We can never forgive the person
who did that to you.
We only hoped to hold you again
after the storm stopped.

Your sister had a continous play buddy
even when you weren’t interested.
You were like a mother to her.
We will miss seeing
the excitement you get:
greeting us in the mornings,
going for walks, going for rides,
camping, watching squirrels,
and the rides specifically with daddy.

Most of all, the excitement
you always felt when you heard
a diesel of daddy’s coming
around the corner.
Then, the first one to greet us
at the door.

We knew you were very happy
with us ’cause you would start
darting from one room
to the other, & outside
from yard to yard.
Nobody ran like you.

The big muscles you received from
so much running.
We can picture you running and
digging your head in the snow.
You loved the snow.
You loved kids and everyone.
We loved you more than we thought and
more than you’ll ever know.
Thank you for the joy you had given us
this last 2 years, 2 months.
You will no longer miss Mr. Magoo,
but Lola will miss you.

Your friends, Jax, Dexter, Casey,
Molly, Brodie, Bobo, Sugar & Aspen
will as well.
We thank the couple that tried
to save you.
If it weren’t for them
we’d never know you went to Heaven.
We will never stop thinking of you and
holding you in our hearts.

We Love You Dearly,

Dad & Mom (Jeff & Donna),
your sister (Lola)
