This is a tribute to my special baby Tina.
She was born in my room in April of 1987 when I was 8 years old. The Lord gave me the best friend I could ever have growing up in a turbulent home. She was always there for me when I was hurting or scared. She even endured 4-1/2 horrific years with an abusive husband.
My best friend took care of her during the last year that I was with my ex-husband. She always licked my tears away when I was sad and never left my side. When she was diagnosed with cancer in May of 1999-I was devastated. I wanted to help her in any way possible. After 2 painful operations-she still tried to be happy and be there for me. I prayed for the Lord to take her-so I wouldn’t have to make the difficult choice
to put her to sleep.
She just wouldn’t leave me. The pain was too severe, so my best friend and I took her and I was there during her last waking minutes. It was bittersweet-I was there when she was born and when she died. Jesus gave me the most wonderful cat in the world to share my love with. Everyone who knew her-loved her and she will be greatly missed. I love you Tina and will miss you forever!!!!
