Toni,
You were with me only a short time,
but a very important time.
Coming home and not being greeted by your wagging tail is so hard for me. you were the one special thing in my life. we went through very hard times together and I doubt if I could have gotten through them without you.
I think of you often and especially during the last years when we were so happy and free to enjoy the walks and times together. I often look for you when I walk in our special spots and I know you we are there.
When you got sick so quick and I had to make that terrible decision, it broke my heart. I just could not let you hurt any more. I made a deal with god to let you live another night and I would do the right thing. He did and that is what makes me know it was the right thing. We had a nice last day and
I treasure it forever.
