my most amazing friend…..
In the past 10 years you have made so many people happy. Your voice would speak so many words and phrases and all the children that would come for piano lessons would marvel at how such a little guy could say so much. You had no fear around the house with Jonah the cat or Koko the dog. You would fly around for exercise often stopping by to say “hi” to Jonah and Koko. They would just look and off you would go. You and I had special times every morning when in changing your quarters you would leap to the forward perch and say
” Verdi’s a good boy “.
You would go on and on. You would fly out and land on my shoulder and lean your head around and try to listen for new words to say. The highlight of your 10 years of speaking surely had to be when on a recent morning you came forward onto the front perch and announced
“I am a good boy.”
The amazing thing is that I had never said that to you. You will be missed very much Verdi. You have been truly an amazing little guy. I will always love you. May God bless you and take care of you.
