In Loving Memory of my very precious Wes, my very special little guinea pig. You were such a little character, more like a dog than a guinea pig! I think you thought you were a dog as you spent so much time with Sadie. She really loved you, she used to love washing you and loving you I can’t believe how gentle she was with you.
I know you loved getting cuddles off Sadie and how you loved to nuzzle your nose into her fur! Squeaking with delight whenever you felt her near you. I let her sniff you when you passed away and she seemed sad. She licked you one last time and I cut a lock of her fur off and laid it next to you so she will always be with you, I also put in a carrot (your very favourite) in case you get hungry on your way to rainbow bridge. It is so quiet without you i miss you so much whenever I used to open the door or if you heard my voice you would squeak so loudly and whistle and dance around your pen excitedly waiting for your carrots and veg.
You became such a big part of the family everyone calling out to you when they were arriving or leaving ‘hia wes’. My mum and dad used to love looking after you if we went away, and they were always so amazed how you would start squeaking when you heard the knife chopping in the kitchen cause you knew your veg was being chopped up!
I miss you so much my darling it was so painful having to let you go, forgive me but we had tried everything and the nasty cancer just got worse. I did not want you to be in anymore pain. I could tell you had had enough and i knew you were telling me it was time. I really thought I was going to lose you at christmas and I am very happy I got to spend another couple of months with you, I know you are running around now with Shanie, Emma, Zak and Elvis,Charlie, Mitsey, and Dainty, Sashkia, Josh and all the other angels, we have had 5 lovely years and I know you lived a very happy little grinney life. Thank you for all your love you will always be in my heart and fond memories.
