Willie by Shirley Soper / Mom

I got my Willie when he was only 4 weeks old, and had to feed him baby formula with a syringe. His mother had chewed his left front paw off when he was born because the umbilical cord was wrapped around it. The breeder was going to have him put to sleep as they had buyers coming in. A friend was working there & told them she knew someone who would take him & love him, so he came to live with me. He never let the loss of a foot bother him in the least, and he loved to sit up and beg (cause that got attention), and loved to dance. Any time music came on he was ready to go, and loved to have someone dance with him. He had two older brothers, Benjamin & Pepe, and they all got along famously. Willie was the last of the three alive & when he developed a rare form of cancer & was in so much pain that I had to have him euthanized,
I thought I’d die of pain.

It has been almost a month now, and I’m still crying every day, and just try to live without my best buddy. I miss you Willie just like I miss Pepe & Ben, and just hope you are all together
in doggy heaven & having a blast.

Mom will be there as soon as I can, and I want to dance with you again, hug Pepe, and play ball with Ben. I love you all.

I miss you so much,
Willie
