In Memory of Winnie The Pup .
I miss you so much.
I remember feeling your fur on my foot when I sat
on the couch. You never let me out of your sight.
I used to give you a massage every night on my bed and
you’d lay by me until I fell asleep.
I want to plant herbs on your grave because you
used to roll in Nana’s herb garden. She would yell at you
but she let you do it anyway.
I am so sorry that I made you take those awful pills.
They killed you and when you died so did a very big
part of my heart. I will never get over your loss.
Your paws will be very hard to fill.
I will never have another dog that turns his head and looks
at the rear of the vehicle when I put it in reverse.
We miss having the dirt kicked in our faces on your walks.
