To My Special Friend Zack
You were a stray when you came to us. I know God sent you to us to teach us things only you could teach us. I never had pets growing up so I really didn’t know much about dogs. You were only 6 weeks old.
When I think of what I want to write about you I can only say how very special you were to all our lives. Daddy, Mark and me all loved you so dearly. We gave me a kind of love and acceptance I never got from anyone in my entire life. When I was down you comforted me. How special you were. For almost fourteen years you were a part of our family and now you will remain in our hearts forever.
I promise I’ll never forget you Zack. I’ll love you always until the day I die. My grief for you is great right now but my love is even greater. I miss you greeting me when I come home. I miss your hugs and the way you nugged me when you wanted attention. Watching you play in the yard with Miss Kitty. Watching you sleep so peacefully. I miss your presence most of all. I miss your smile and how excited you use to get after you bath.
The way you talked to us if we stayed gone too long. Zack thank you for 14 years of love and joy you brought us. You will live forever in my heart. You were so much more to us than just a pet, we were an important part of our family. I pray God will bring us together again in heaven. Rest my little angel. No more pain, no more suffering, rest in peace.
Thank you Zack for all the wonderful memories you gave us and most of all for the love you showed us.
