"Butch" 1990 ----- 2000
Dog
Butch was not my dog. However he shared a part of my life.
I took care of Butch and his female friend Pepper.
While my friend/landlord built his new home next door Butch
Pepper and my Beagle Penny had a heck of a time.
When I first moved in Butch and Pepper didn't care much for Penny.
But after a month or so they could be found together
under the shade tree on a hot summer day.
We lost Butch on Thursday August 10 2000.
Butch so enjoyed life.
I remember coming home from work and
there he would be with that famous howl.
He would rare back his head and let out that howl a
s he pranced around the yard.
I can't wait to hear that howl again when we meet again someday.
