For Tupelo
“When I see you again”

This emptiness I feel will be gone
When I see you again
You will bring me your toy
I will fill up with joy
When I see you again
My pain will go away
On your couch you will lay
When I see you again
I love you so much
I am so heartsick with you gone
I will feel so alone
Until the day comes
When I see you again
I am so sorry that I left you alone
Please forgive me
I never wanted you to be scared and alone and I will make it up to you
When I see you again
If I could do it over
I would have stayed at home
And sat by your side until Gods angels came to take you
Where you feel no pain
And are running again
I hope they have a pool there
And lots of dirt to dig
I have to stay here now
But will be so happy for the day
When I see you again
